I talk about the stuff, that you rent the game for a week or so. Well, you can buy the parts (pretty expensive), but this renting system is really evil.

How so?

After I owned Wii Sports / Play and others, I realized the only time I actually wanted to play those was at parties. So I'd much rather spend $1 to play it for 24hrs on those rare parties where we want to play that game than spend $5 to own it and play it a couple times.

Its just like renting a movie vs buying. In many cases, it could be the better option. OR like the cases where people rent a game and then go buy it later. The rental allowed them to understand if they really wanted to own it long term.

Its a great concept and I'd prefer it over the commonly half-finished products that game demos are.
