This DLC image above is a perfect example of what happens when you're only focus is on short-term gains. Nintendo doesn't do this and likely never will. Its anti-consumer and focuses on giving the consumer a lower end product while increasing the price. Additionally, it ruins the IP.

Nintendo already had DLC with Fire Emblem, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, New Super Mario Bros U and probably other games. They made with SteelDiver SubWars a Free 2 Play game. And they made Wii Sports Club, and let you rent the game for a short period of time. The Karaoke game is the same. So actually Nintendo does already the same.

Nintendo DLC is like the 1995 picture. You actually buy wholly new content.

NSBU is perfect example as is Pikmin3. Both cases you are given amost entirely new games or levels. Not pieces that complete the original game.

Nintendo just give you the same game time and time again..............that is better because?!

Most games are shit now for screwing you over in some form. This is why you wait and get the game + all DLC on steam for $1 or bargin bin 6 months after launch.

same game time and time again is the entirety of what EA creates.

Nintendo's Super Mario and other IPs are 100% new and completely different games each iteration. There's a reason they sell more on one console than Madden/FIFA and other crap sells on all cosnoles combined.

You clearly do not play Nintendo hardware and are basing your logic on fantasy ignorant beliefs held by self-proclaimed core gamers.

are you drunk?

DLC for Zelda could be epic if done right
Whole new areas could be added with new weapons and collectibles.

So? Why should we care lol.

Are not they the ones who don't drop the price in some games for years?

Just because something retains its full value over time does not mean its somehow bad.

Fact is mario, zelda and other games are supremely popular for the entire life of the hardware and well after where the games 3rd parties shovel out are proven to be worthless a month later.

So what? There is more games that sells a lot at first and equally they drop the price 5-6 months after launch, sometimes a little more. If third-parties are anti-consumer, Nintendo is not too far behind. And don't forget, the budget for wii games was low, I would say they are even more "anti-consumer"

So basically you're a PC+Wii U screw PS4 and Xbox one right?

For now. You see how that has developed for other companies. And the Wii Sports Club crap is just inexcusable.
