With how quiet it got around the game this is kinda expected, still a bummer.

This makes me wonder though, when the hell is Sony planning to pull this bundle from Amazon.de?

It's the 18th best selling gaming item of 2014 on Amazon, way above the standalone PS4 (since Amazon.de is selling those through some third party retailer for 500€ and has gotten hardly any stock in 2014 at all), what is their plan with this?

pretty much what i think too.

i was supposed to drive launch sales. now that sony sees ps4's are being pushed without it they are in no hurry to release driveclub. if the VR headset is real (and how could it not be after soo much rumor) this would be some good filler for the VR launch.

Looks like Sony's studios aren't as great as I originally thought, seems like Media Molecule and Naughty Dog are the only ones able to consistently meet deadlines while being able to produce quality games. I was once really looking forward to DriveClub, now I don't care if I ever hear that name again.
