Nice to see a gaming company building HQ instead of selling them off.

Buy hey, at least someone is buying buildings instead of selling them!

Well that didn't take long.

The truth hurts :D

It doesn't hurt, especially when it's not true. Sony doesn't just put their employees on the street when they sell a building,

they replace it by buying another building.

To be more precise Sony is leasing the top 10 floors of the building for 15 years, they are not buying the building.

Sony currently expects to lay-off around 5,000 employees worldwide before the start of the 2015 fiscal year.

3,500 jobs cut are from outside Japan, though there is no mention if any are from the move out of the old 37 floor Sony Tower.

Hopefully they focus on WiiU games and not 3DS games.

Exactly, the 3ds is already sucessful and can sustain itself while they still keep neglecting the Wii U.

Sony is always throwing their employees out on the street

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Why not both?

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

I have always imagined walking into those doors and it being something akin to Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

Now they have buildings to sell since they are doomed.

good luck to us

Switch!!!

It's clear looking at this new sinny building that Nintendo doesn't care about long term and only wants to generate profits.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Some has to sell their buildings (Sony) and some build new ones ;)

I think a big part of the problem is that the new HQ looks way too much like the old HQ. Even the names are similar. Casual fans will have no idea that it's an all-new HQ. They should have gone with a new design direction and included mor RAM, then maybe they would get more third party support.

Best comment on this thread LOL

They also shoud have dropped Gamepad support on this new HQ, makes the building too expensive.
