Agree. Assuming we are talking global here.... Over 50% would be impressive, 60 very impressive. 70 sustained is probably never going to happen, unless you're talking 3DS.

It will hit 70, but at the end will be no more than 55%. No way can maintain the insane sales so long. And Xbox One has been selling bad because of price. Once Microsoft drop it worldwide the sales will explode.

I'm not sure how big of an effect that will have, to be honest. Apparently some stock from Germany and other EU countries where the XBO is selling poorly is being imported into nordic countries and other "Tier 2" countries and they are still found in stocks there as well. I'm sure it'll get a boost, but the XBO main fight is in the US and UK, hence why they are being so aggressive with TF and the XBO bundle in those countries. Whether or not their strategy works remains to be seen.

Here's the thing though, apparently Cerny said the PS4 will drop in price relatively fast due to its COTS parts. Do you think a $299 PS4 will be more damaging against a $399 XBO? Or a $399 PS4 against a $499 XBO? I tend to think the former will do more damage than the latter. Of course, if MS wants to eat the costs and sell for a big loss, then they can price match Sony. Or they can drop kinect, but I honestly don't see that happening like some other folks can.

Xbone has released in the most important markets already where MS sold like 90 percent of 360s. It wont make a difference once they release in the pro Sony rest of Europe and Asia territories. Besides, most xbox fans in those countries already imported the xbone and stores like mediamarkt are selling them already.
PS4 has not found its market equilibrium point yet so I see no really it won't continue this way for a while. However I expect both WiiU and XB1 to do better at points this year with big releases. I think when this year is done it will have around a 55-60% market share for 2014, but still be under 50% lifetime. Remember WiiU will have MK8 SSB and maybe Zelda to sell it over the holidays. Only think that can help XB1 right now is a price cut.

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
