Nope, but both games were high profile, multiplat, and from the first March of the 360's launch, just like Titanfall. Gears was released in November....and exclusive to one console. So the time difference and exclusivity makes the Gears comparison unrealistic.

So gen over Gen, Titanfall will do much better then what GRAW/Oblivion did for 360.

I realize that, but he's the one who said the X1 version of Titanfall would more than double Second Son.

Because in a few weeks TitanFall is gonna smoke that game when it comes to Xbox One vs PS4 software. So I mean that's cool infamous has a few more hits on youtube, lol.

Trollbait thread or not.

Titanfall has dominated the media coverage since the beta weekend. Word of mouth is extremely positive even from the non-shooter crowd. Whilst I fully expect Infamous to become the next-gen benchmark once it launches it doesn't have a prayer of outselling Titanfall. The combined install base of the 360, PC and X1 dwarf that of the PS4.

In a next-gen sales comparison I expect a much closer race. The PS4 has a larger install base than the X1, and I'm not sure how much the PC/360 versions will cannibalise the X1's sales.

I expect Microsft will put more of a marketing push behind Titanfall as well. Titanfall has to succeed for Microsoft to have a prayer against the PS4.
