Titanfall has dominated the media coverage since the beta weekend. Word of mouth is extremely positive even from the non-shooter crowd. Whilst I fully expect Infamous to become the next-gen benchmark once it launches it doesn't have a prayer of outselling Titanfall. The combined install base of the 360, PC and X1 dwarf that of the PS4.
In a next-gen sales comparison I expect a much closer race. The PS4 has a larger install base than the X1, and I'm not sure how much the PC/360 versions will cannibalise the X1's sales.
I expect Microsft will put more of a marketing push behind Titanfall as well. Titanfall has to succeed for Microsoft to have a prayer against the PS4.
