The 3ds had a $80 price cut in North America 3 or 4 months after it released, that was almost a third of a price cut.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

It happens. Launch consoles have no games and will likely receive a price cut soon.... they are never a good investment, it's just that people want to be the first to own something. Why is this always so shocking to people?
What difference does it really make to the early adopter if the price cut is 8 months later instead of 3?
You should know what you're getting into if you buy early.
Besides, really how does it help an early adopter if the system they've bought is struggling in the market? It doesn't help third parties for one, which in the end isn't good for the consumer.

Consoles fail without early adopters.

It damages consumer confidence. But as long as it works, it should have more pros then cons. The difference is the earlier the price cut the more screwed over the early adopter is.
TBH considering the shit that Microsoft has pulled with Xbox in the past, this is hardly much of an outrage. And at least this is justifiyable.

All I hear are Sony fans finding more to hate on MS lol what a mess this gen is. Can actual early adopters express their opinion on this? I mean, people that bought an X1 and live in UK?
I'd be more pissed if I bought a console for some games and they keep getting delayed or are cancelled like 3 years after they were unveiled keeping their fans waiting for nothing.

Still, we got many free games for it (20, and while old, many of them are really good). When you are an early adopter you should be aware that the price is going to drop, and is there a difference if the price drops now or five months from now? It also leads to more sales, and sales leads to more games.
No love for the US this is unfair.
Protest all MS porodiucts this is crap.
