Well of course it is, but if people aren't buying it, then it needs a price drop. Sony also gave a big price drop to the PS3 when it was selling badly.

Its £30 which isn't that much of a price cut and less the 10% of systems original price. The biggie here is that Titanfall is bundled for free!!! But game bundles get announced all the time, no one should really be that mad...

We've seen pricecuts happen fast after a console flopping in sales, but this is the fastest one i can remember. Nintendo for example, didn't have that ambassador programme for nothing..


Nintendo Cut their price by  almost 40%.

 

MS cu price by <10%. Many early adopters got Fifa free with their Xbox One.

It is kind off always the same with early adoption.

The games to price ratio will never be as bad as in the first few months of a console´s livespan

...and VG247 is a pretty bad site tbh

Didn't early European adopter, or some of them, already got a free game packed with the Xbone ?

Think it was Fifa, don't see why this new offer would be that shocking, as it's not really anything new marketing wise.

Only the price cut so early is a little surprising, but it's not massive and i doubt early adopter really cares as they know price is bound to happen down the line.

It's more about, that Microsoft just wanted to benefit the most from the loyal fans. <3 months later> Microsoft: "Damn, our sales are getting pretty weak (no sh*t) at least we got every peny from our most loyal fans, let's give it a price cut to it's normal price." So we can finally compete against Sony.
