They just need to get the price down and do heavy bundling, the Nintendo mascots will pull people in at the right price. $250 with 3 first party download games, including the new mario.

You can't "relaunch" a videogame console. Once it has been launched, then it is launched. It's like saying you're going to re-drink a drink or re-eat a meal. It just doesn't make logical sense.

Also cancelling all existing projects, and dedicating resources into transforming Wii U into an NFC machine for kids is about the dumbest idea I have ever heard.

its not the wiiu.....its just that nintendo consoles dont sell well

the super casuals are long gone and Nintendo know it thats why they went for gamers again. Once its cheap enough i imagine alot of people will get it for there second console, as again it differntiates itself more than XO and PS4, once you have one of those 2 its better to get a Wii U than the other. 

looking at the ps4 sales i dont think casuals are completely gone

i doubt they will get wiiu as their second console.....not many people know about the nintendo brand outside handhelds

Brilliant, theyve been in the industry the longest, they have the best selling ips on consoles by miles, weve just come of the back of a generation where they sold 100M units on Wii, Yep no one knows Nintendo make consoles. 

If nintendo was administred by soundwave, it would have gone bankrupt 3 times already. those ideas are terrible.

wii did not sell because its a nintendo console...wii sold because of the motion control
