Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Get rid of congress and set up your own congress with people who understand what needs to be fixed right?
The US hasn't had a president motivated to actually IMPROVE the lives of it's citizens since FDR. It's not going to change either. Politics and politicians are fake. It's all a show and if you believe any of it even for a second well, my friends, you're asleep at the wheel.
The answer is... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! These 2 men are the only 2 presidents so far to have presided in the era of the internet. People think Reagan and Clinton were so great but do remember that news traveled slow in those days. Today we have 24 hours news network, politically biased news networks, and a slew of one-sided internet sites that tell the story the way they want to spin it. I guarantee that the next president will be the "worst president ever" just like both Bush and Obama are constantly labeled.

Point 6 is the answer to your question in point 5, or at least a part of it. |
1. Lower taxes = more income. If gov tax too much, ppl stop to pay, try to cheat fiscus ( the tax office ) or pay in the other country. I think it works that way. Also cut the social help. It never helps in long run.
2. Bring back industry = end stupid ( these are smart ones too, but only a few ) ecology law, lower taxes = it makes American products less expensive = industry gains more cash = they start to hire ppls ( more income + less social expenses ) and invest. Ppl get more moneyz and they will buy new houses, cars etc. Economy is the art of the fast circulation of money. U gave me, I give others and they give u. Everytime somebody give other cash gov take its tax.
3. Is Spanish most popular language in USA ? Or maybe Chinese ? Do u know how many ppl cant speak ur language in ur country ? Can u speak this languages ? So maybe hire a translator ? OFC force them to learn, they are ur guests god dammit.

6. OK, geopolitic is very complex issue .

I think it's hilarious that Obama was yelled at during his first couple of years in office for not providing any change like the promised and now he's being universally shunned for providing actual change.

1. I don't think you understand that taxes are really not that much of an issue in the US. The US has one of the lowest taxes in the developed world, inequality is a far bigger issue. And cut social programs? Yeah good luck with that, the last thing they need is pissed off Veterans, Seniors and the Unemployed rioting to the streets because the government threw out their social security, it's already happened before .
2. American products are already cheap because they are outsourced to countries with cheap labour, high growth rates and poor environmental regulation. The only serious way for America to get back it's industry from China is to drop the minimum wage, make lots of babies and heavily cut down environmental regulation. Considering Americans working at entry level jobs aren't willing to let their wages drop down to under $1 an hour to work in terrible work conditions, I don't think it's likely America is getting back this level of industry.
3. The US doesn't have an offical language on a federal scale so the federal government can't force people to learn any language. Besides I assume if you want to attain some higher level of success, you're going to learn English anyways, so there is no reason that you should have to force people.

America can't really afford to be isolationist as it was in the past, for better or worse as a great power to protect it's interests it will get into the affairs of other countries. However America could use a policy of non-interventionism which would steer them clear of easily preventable conflicts such as Libya and Syria. Anything is better than prolonging wars in countries that pose no real threat to America 2. More or less a consquence of the government type of the United States, but yes currently many grid locks exist. 3. Agreed. 4. Modern industralization is always a good idea, however it is an extremely expensive process and something has to be done about preventing companies from outsourcing their workforces to cheaper labour again without harming the American people such as making a compromise that would allow companies to pay Americans barely anything. 5. More or less what I said for 4. 6. I agree but this would have to probably lead to more government involvement and taxes, which a significant amount of people are not too happy about. All this needs is a change in mindset, surely if they saw there taxes give them something necessary in return then they would support stuff like free healthcare (it costs far less per head this way). However it's likely no significant tax increase would be neccessary to fund this, as the military funding would be slashed first. The other thing would be to prevent tax avoidance which occurs when companies and the rich move there money to offshore accounts. 7. I don't know too much about this, sorry. ~http://www.beggarscanbechoosers.com/2011/09/america-prospered-in-1950s-with-91.html ~http://www.bloombergview.com/articles/2013-01-02/1950s-tax-fantasy-is-a-republican-nightmare Just to give some insight to it I think the problem is the country is more or less stuck in a catch-22 situation. People want lower taxes, and the debt to decrease, to decrease the military budget but also defend America's allies, less government intervention but also less mega-corporations and lower unemployment along with that the political parties and representatives are reluctant to have a middle ground. Unfortunately the world don't work like that. So a compromise is needed. |
