I enjoyed modnation racers a lot. Very underrated game. Mariokart might be better in terms of "brand value".

My optimistic self says 90+, but the history tells us that these games are not rated that high, so I think 85.

Well, I can't speak for or against Modnation because I've never played it, but Mario Kart as a brand carries more weight than Modnation. It has a tight gameplay & good online functionality. Its also a well-designed game, with no excessive load-times or distracting graphical glitches. Each game is typically very consistent and just fun to pick up and play, so I don't see why MK8 couldn't reach 82+, especially since the series has a history of reaching that and higher.

90% or higher. From what I've heard, snaking is back in this one (from MK DS, my favorite in the series) if any of you can confirm this to be true, that'd be excellent.

-Mario Kart is Mario Kart

The Cons -
- Holding items is shitty and not completely new
- Hand-Gliding doesn't do enough new stuff
- Car customisation is crap
- Why didn't they just do F-Zero?
- Blue shell sucks
- Mario Kart 7.5
- Nintendoland Engine, not new
- Something about something that is shit
