They didnt spent $100 million for gears of war for nothing. They are investing lots of first party studios. Xbox is a dream child of bill gates. This will not happen. If it happens then sony will get arrogant again.

Competition is good for gamers, so MS have to stay. But please MS, next time, next Gen, please release a better machine !!! MS was great in releasing the XBox 360, really a 'perfec't console. Now, Sony released a 'perfect' Console; I seriously don't know what happened to the brain of some people at MS.

as a matter of fact SEC is a LLC, its in of it self is completely contained in its entirety as a 

 wholly owned subsidiary that is not for public offering in stock!

That is exactly why sony sold off the PC section, and spin off the TV section!, even dan lobe with 7% ownership of Sony , Kaz and the board of directors flat out in a vote as a whole told him No for a public offering of the entertainment Arm!, he does not even have a seat on the board over @ Sony.

The poison Pill was already set in place before this buy out talk was even started. Playstation is one of the three pillar's of Sony, the entire board of director's and Kaz would hve to be displaced for even a chance for this to take place, by that time it would be over the Hedge fund would get short sale and break up of those toxic assets, and Sony would have in of itself no public offering on the good parts that shark hedge funds want access to. 

Its a No win situation for non japanese, to try to come into that area and try to do a hostile take over, in the past 40 years the japanese GOVT.

its quite simple really, all 11+ of the founding father's of the xbox platform, who came up with the idea over @ Microsoft, are all now gone! all of the main people who were gamer's at the core who wanted to really push for a game console over @ Microsoft have stepped down than left, as a matter of fact.

Aslong as it is profitable, I don't think so. MS has been in the computer gaming business a long time, and in videogames for over 10 years and it has made them a lot of money during the 360 years.
