I believe Gamecube already had some of its big hitters out by 2003, Wii U has....Mario....a "bleh" version of Mario that isnt wowing anyone to buy a Wii U. We'll see what kind of momentum Mario Kart, Smash and others do to the sales. This world is different now that games like Mario Kart have gotten much bigger than previous iterations. I think the console still has a chance at matching Gamecube numbers, we'll see, hard to predict without sounding like a hater or a fanboy....
