It's pretty disappointing. I guess I'm just spoiled because of the 3DS in 2013. That was the pinnacle of what a Nintendo system can be, but the Wii U....is not that system.

It's going to be rough. 1 game in February and 1 game at the very end of May? That's a pretty terrible spring.

I'm guessing we'll see another massive drought after MK, considering Smash is likely holiday, X seems like it might get pushed to 2015.... *sigh*.

From a commercial standpoint it shows that Nintendo's management are as moronic as ever and haven't gotten it through their thick skulls that this is why Wii U is tanking.

But it won't bother me much; I still have Tropical Freeze and Sonic Racing Transformed to play, as well as possibly Art of Balance U, and games like 3D World and COD Ghosts which I still fire up every now and then. Been meaning to replay Fatal Frame 4 on Wii as well.

I love how people think that just because this direct didn't announce any first party games for the next few months that the next direct once. We get directs every like 1-2 months (sometimes earlier I think) and yet people think that if Nintendo doesn't announce a game 5 months before release that they won't announce it 4 months before release. This logic is nonsense.

Thoughts, they have given up on the WIIu and are focusing on milking the 3ds. No new games just what we already know, not a bright future i see.

It will never happen again.
