My lame what?

Also, you're very pessimistic and bitter. Take a chill pill.

4/10 - No release date for X (or even a name), no new games, 3DS is looking to have a bad year

However it was nice to see X in action.

They clearly said that they'll be talking of games coming out through the spring of 2014...did you guys honestly believe they would announce something "ground-breaking" on a direct like this? I'm pretty sure they want to save any announcements they might have for e3 2014, which is about 4 months away. We'll probably have another direct in late March to mid April, likely talking more of games coming Summer and Fall, then e3 for late Fall, Winter, and later games. Here, we have to take Iwata's advice and please understand.

I loved it....

Switch!!!

Okay. I'm confused. I didn't ever feel that Nintendo Directs were like mini-E3 press conferences. I just felt like it was a news program like "Qore" or "Inside Xbox". What's going on here?

You're on crack, that Nintendo Direct was easily the best one in over 8 months.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Each Nintendo Direct is supposed to blow your mind with new announcements. Unless it's a mini, in which case it merely has to give you a blowjob.

I think the disappointed were in the position of hoping that it would single-handedly revamp the Wii U's fortunes with new announcements of games which will be releasing in the next three months, WITH the promise of additonal steady big releases for the rest of the foreseeable future as well.

I guess if you went into it with the expectation of a new Metroid or Star Fox being announced, then sure...although I'm not sure why you would have. They specifically said beforehand that it was about titles coming out this year.

Little Mac looks like someone with a unique/interesting moveset, lots of speed and super armor but poor recovery, interested in how he plays.

Don't really care for another Kirby or Yoshi's Island, but that's definitely opinion.

Nice to see some updates for PLvsPW, even if it was English only. Really hope the VAs aren't final, though. Also, another Ace Attorney being announced in the Japanese version was great.

NES Remix 2 and GBA titles coming to Wii U are both nice add ons as well.

Tropical Freeze trailer didn't show anything new, so meh there

Don't care at all about Koopalings in Mario Kart, but some new footage is nice to have.

X trailer was pretty meh

Bayonetta 2 trailer was pretty great

I guess the only way you could classify that as really disappointing was if you thought some new games were going to be announced. And if that's the case...well...certainly helps to pay attention beforehand.
