This is a subjective topic and obviously many people will not agree, however I have to say that Nintendo is for me one of the best developers ever because they've created many masterpieces and still keep releasing great games.

As a supporter of Nintendo I agree, sort of. Nintendo makes the best games in the genres they tackle. Comparing Zelda and GTA is like comparing apples and oranges, they might all be fruit(or in this case, games) but rockstar definitely beats Nintendo in the sandbox, open world and plot driven games department.
