Nintendo would need just a install base of 10M to have SMB sell more than UC4, are you serious in this question?

If Uncharted 4 sold 7m units, then the attach rate for SSB would need to be 70% at 10m WiiUs. That doesn't make much sense.

And you expect WiiU to sell just 10M???

No, I was using the number you gave out. I don't see this version of SSB doing any better than Melee, and it will probably due worse due to the 3DS version. Especially in Japan where everyone is obsessed with handhelds.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

You're probably right, Super Smash sales will be split between Wii U and 3DS afterall. This year's Halo will likely outsell Super Smash Wii U as well, regardless of rather it's Halo 5 or Halo 2 Anniversary.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary did just north of 2 million. What in the world are you predicting for Halo 2 Anniversary? lol

OT: Why not. Smash 3DS could really cut into Wii U sales.

According to the leak it's going to have it's own multiplayer, presumably a direct copy of Halo 2's multiplayer (which many Halo fans consider to be the best multiplayer in the whole series), Halo CE Anniversary didn't have it's own multiplayer (just a map pack for Halo Reach). The only Halo multiplayer experience on the Xbox One until Halo 5 releases in 2015, plus the leak said it'd come with Halo 5 beta access, it'd likely match or exceed the sales of the original Halo 2 lifetime.

You expect it to reach 8.5 million sales?

Wow

Nope

Super Smash Bros Melee had over 7 million copies sold on Gamecube which is exceptional when you know fact that Gamecube only had almost 22 million units sold in its lifetime.

I disagree that Uncharted 4 would outsell Super Smash Bros U... Uncharted 3 has 6.3 million copies sold on 80+ million PlayStation 3's so attach rate is below 10% while Super Smash Bros Melee had attach rate of over 30% on Gamecube.

Anyway... Wii U will easily surpass 8 million and 10 million is not out of the question...

I love UC and most of Sony 1st parties... but Almost all Nintendo 1st are bigger in comparison, no PS game would sell comparable to Ninty games on GC even with a twice bigger userbase, and that doesn't bother me because I preffer Sony and buy them all... but I doubt UC have chance to top SMB.

But your answer was fair. But it would be possible to se SMB sell 6M on a 10M userbase. KZ:SF sold 2.1M to 4.2M userbase.

This I can see happening.

I think Super Smash Bros U will sell more than Uncharted 4. The reason being that Smash is a bigger franchise. The Wii U will certainly hold the game back from reaching it's full potential but let's not forget that the game also comes out for the 3DS.

Well if you count both, sure!

Sony could make a port for Vita so we can sum them as well.

Since there is more mainstreamers than gamers I agree.
