Yes its 9th year! I don' t think many of it's buyers realize that though.
Depends on the game. I own both the 360 and the WiiU. There is a difference in favor for the WiiU. Not tremendously much - but it's there. It's more evident among select titles like 3D world and Need For Speed.
In my experience, graphical quality tends to be about equal b/w next and current near the beginning of a generation. We've seen all the 360 can do, we're just beginning to see what WiiU can.
The value of libraries really depends on your tastes. I'm commenting in regards to the tastes of family, casual, console-buying audience. To that audience, I think a new Donkey Kong or Mario Kart holds more appeal than a Lego game made in ages past. If FPS is your thing, then certainly the 360 would be better.
