Hey, some franchises don't need to continue. Gears was a breakout, it told its stories and was (for me) THE 7th gen franchise. I don't want M$ to ruin it. Oh well, if it's good I'll buy. If it's not, I'll still have the older games.

This is pretty damn big. Kudos to buying the franchise outright rather than buying exclusivity from Epic.
That said, does this mean Black Tusk have 2 teams or does it mean the other Black Tusk game is canned?

Pretty much haha. We should just wait a while to get enough posts and compare it then with the posts in another thread (I think there was one about Gears coming to PS) and look what the same people said there.
But to be fair, it's not from Epic anymore so that we can expect some changes. If to the worse or better is another question...

They originally said they were working on multiple AAA games and then later said they were working on 4 games.
The original AAA game is being hyped as the next big thing, Halo big
So what, is Black Tusk going to be working on two games now?

So, Black Tusk now is a two team studio?
This is the reason I bought the Sony console this generation. Sony focuses on creating new IP and they create new studios, Microsoft tend to recycle what is successful in hopes of making a little more money.
