Even Gamecube levels are out starting to look out of reach at this point. Just look at the software support from the past half year compared to Gamecube: http://m.neogaf.com/showpost.php?p=85455146

Gamecube saw 109 games released in that period against 35 on Wii-U, that's over three times as much!

You're preaching to the converted As you said in your other post, the price was way more attractive too.

Last time was Mario 3d World. Really, Mario Kart can't do better than that

WiiUs price will never see a significant cut as long as you have that golden brick known as the Gamepad as a necessity to play games with. WiiU could have had more chances to appeal gamers that prefer a casual console by droping that controller. The gamepad not only looks out of place for a console, repelishing many potential buyers, but also increases WiiU's price exponentially.

Consistent software releases are what could save it, not single games.

Good luck with that. The same old same old ain't gonna do the trick. Price cut might help a bit.

It is mind blowing that Nintendo first party studios haven't released a single new IP for the console after 14 months on the shelves. And X is the only thing resembling a new IP that has been announced for the future.

Who needs to be saved? wii u? nintendo? With the bunch of games that wii u have and the ones that will come, and the old ips that can be revived, and others games that weren't reveled yet... wii u is pretty fine, if people want to find every single excuse to not buy this console, its their problems, it is not nintendo fault

Mario Kart won't save it. The console is finished and it is completely Nintendos fault.

Quoted, going to save this and use after MK8 is released, it is going to be funny.

Most antecipated games: Mario Kart 8 and Warlords of Draenor.

I don't think MK8 will save the Wii U if Nintendo continues their current marketing efforts. If they correct that, then it has a chance, and other games will help too.

Yep.
