Forums - Gaming - So is anyone else on here willing to wait for a PS4 version of Titanfall?

Titanfall 1 yes, but Titanfall 2 will go to PS4, you cant buy everything you want with money( especially when PS4 will be the leader of the generation, ea must be disappointed), it's up to Respawn and  they want to bring the game on PS4.  ( they surely know how many microsoft could pay them but they seem to be less interested in money than multiplatform release )

How could it be otherwise ? even if in the best sci fi  scenario microsoft wins in US by a good margin, it cant win against PS4 in europe + Japan.  PS4 will be the leader, it's a fact at this point, only an alien invasion could change that.

Respawn wants the next on PS4, nothing will stop them to do that ( they didnt want the deal remember)

Nobody can say for sure that it is never coming, plenty of third party games have had it said about them only to end up being released anyway, but even with that slim possibility of it coming, I firmly believe its a title that will do well critically, do well commercially, but won't be fun to play after a month or so of being on the market, servers will be flooded with people glitching, exploiting or generally just people more adept to the title overpowering those new to it.

Its for these reasons I'm buying PC version, because it will be cheaper and I won't feel like I wasted as much when I inevitably abandon it like I have done with virtually all other multiplayer focused titles over the years.

The problem is these games are only as good as the communities that play them, and those communities are mostly made up of assholes.

we are talking about ms here kids. If this franchise is as successful as ms is anticipating and it moves unit. you can bet that they will outright buy the publishing rights from EA and respawn. and if respawn approves sign a multi year deal with ms while still owning their franchise. the xbox divison would just write it off as part of the promotional budget imo.

 

MS are a cut throat company. if money is all it takes, not a problem.

No way MS pays the amout of money that EA will lose from not having it on the PS4. Like i said before, EA is Face palming right now cause of that deal. losing money

I have a PS4 and a 360...so I'll just play it on 360. Most people are going to be playing it on that platform.

I'll bet you anything that if it was a MS owned IP, it would be an Xbone exclusive. They need another Halo, and Titanfall just might have been it. But since it's on the 360, that's not going to happen.
