we are talking about ms here kids. If this franchise is as successful as ms is anticipating and it moves unit. you can bet that they will outright buy the publishing rights from EA and respawn. and if respawn approves sign a multi year deal with ms while still owning their franchise. the xbox divison would just write it off as part of the promotional budget imo.
MS are a cut throat company. if money is all it takes, not a problem.
