I got Bioshock Infinite and Dues Ex free ages ago with GPU purchases on the PC. :)
Still waiting for a rainy day where I can play them though...

Yeah, if you have a PS3, PS4 and Vita like I do then it pays for itself several times over. So many games there's no time to play them all (like, 50 games per year?). But I just play what I really want to. This month I'm gonna play DmC.

PS+ is the SHIT for PS3. For PS4? Lack of BC means for the foreseeable future, you're getting mostly indie games and not of the Minecraft/Meatboy variety. Personally, I hate it because I don't own a PS3 and having to watch the PS3 owners get all these awesome games I'm left feeling completely screwed over.

My only issue with PS+ is now it's required to play online, which is, pure...bullshit. I refuse to do it. I paid for XBL last gen, and I kept telling myself "I'm going with Sony next gen. I'm not paying for something that should be free anymore". But then when Sony said they were doing it too, I was like, what options do I have? So I went with Sony anyway. Now, I'm at the point here in a week or so when the free PS+ ends and I'm just not going to pay for it.

I quit PS+ and will only go for XBLG hereon out. The premise of losing the games I received "for free" during the subscription period annoys the hell out of me, and now that XBLG will include free games permanently, it just has a greater value for me personally.

The games PS+ offered where awesome though :).

Im honesty considering PSVita just cause all the free PS3 and PS4 stuff... why not spread the love to a third unit.

If your Plus Subscription is about to run out, I suggest you go into your console and find the setting and cancel it now.  You'll still get the full month but if you don't, they'll automatically charge you $17 or $18 and renew you whether you want it or not.  Just get it again when the good games roll out.

The main reason I got a PS3 was because online was free. I didnt even get PS+ until over 1 year after it launched, but eventually I realised that all the games I wanted to buy were continuously being released on PS+ and would have otherwise cost me hundreds of pounds even if I continued with pre-owned (where I started missing out on online passes)

It is only worth it if you have a lot of free time and you play a lot of games and you are not picky.

Only thing stopping me is lack of HDD space on PS3. So waiting until I get PS4 so there's plenty of room to download titles.

If your vigilant you can find 12 month cards or online codes for sale for $40 or less. Great deal when it covers all 3 devices and its a good feeling to know your vita/ps3/ps4 saves are backed up on the cloud every night.
