The Last of Us

Smash brothers brawl. Not my personal favorite, but I think the amount of content that game had blows anything else away. Hell you even had a 6 hour platformer in the there that could have been it's own game by itself.

I don't know. It's a tough call. Many people say TLOU but it's because of the current hype. Sure, the game was great and all, but what would've happened if TLOU came out back in 2008 and Metal Gear Solid IV came out last year? Everyone would be saying MGS4 was the game of the generation and not The Last Of Us despite it's really high quality. Hell, to be honest, I haven't seen anyone mentioning MGS4 at all in a long while. We humans tend to be forgetful, aren't we? In my opinion one can't call a recently released game "GOTG" because you're still a bit manipulated by the hype, in order to do it you must sit down and think really hard, analyzing all the great experiences you had.

But then again, just my opinion, folks.

If we're going to include Twilight Princess as part of the 7th gen, then I would choose that, honestly. I played the hell out of Skyrim, as well as Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, etc.

But my TP experience was just awesome, simply put. My first playthrough I had around 80 hours on the file, BEFORE I finally beat the game. And that was mostly just me running around exploring, dicking around, finding rupees and hidden caves, etc. Just had a real blast playing the game, to me the amount of content and difficulty were just right, the story was interesting, the gameplay was what I wanted from Zelda, OoT but everything done even better. And it still stands right now as the best 3D action/adventure game I've ever played, and best 3D Zelda.

So yup, TP gets my vote.

Yes really, but you gotta remember I started this gen in 2011 (not including SSBB, Mario and MKW etc.) so there are plenty of games I still have to get to... haha who am I kidding nothing shall surpass FFXIII last gen for me. That game was freaking awesome.
