If we're going to include Twilight Princess as part of the 7th gen, then I would choose that, honestly. I played the hell out of Skyrim, as well as Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, etc.
But my TP experience was just awesome, simply put. My first playthrough I had around 80 hours on the file, BEFORE I finally beat the game. And that was mostly just me running around exploring, dicking around, finding rupees and hidden caves, etc. Just had a real blast playing the game, to me the amount of content and difficulty were just right, the story was interesting, the gameplay was what I wanted from Zelda, OoT but everything done even better. And it still stands right now as the best 3D action/adventure game I've ever played, and best 3D Zelda.
So yup, TP gets my vote.
