Depends on how many people Sony gets back out of their stable former market who will purchase next gen consoles. Microsoft already dug into that marketshare, so lets see how much Sony can salvage in America.

Not really, I think the PS4 will slow down a lot in NA and keep good momentum in Europe and that the One will edge out the PS4 in NA through 2014, on a global scale, I just can't see the PS4 doubling the One, lifetime or otherwise, despite Xbox being a non-factor in Japan.

It's possible. But it will very much depend on how PS4 does in Japan. It'll have to do Wii-like numbers long term for PS4>Xb one*2 to be possible.

I think more likely is PS4>Xb one+Wii U if Wii U keeps on underperforming.

Not even out in Japan yet, when it does its possible at some point it will get to double worldwide.

In Europe it certainly looks like PS4 will double the X1, America, I don't think so. Japan's market is no longer as big as it used to be, but I do think it will be significant enough to boost PS4 to that point in the distant future.

What do you mean by reversed?? x1 will outsell ps4?? Not going to happen unless all of europe and japan mistake xbox for Playstation.

Yep and by the time Titanfall 2 launches on the Xbox One and PS4 it will sell consoles in the west easily for both. That still puts Sony at an advantage but I dont know about it selling double. That is going to happen over time.
