shipment = sellthough + retail.

 

so if shipment = 3.0M we know they said sellthrough when it was actually shipment.

if shipment is 3.2M+ we know the number 3M number truely was sellthough

 

 

when to financials release?


the number of countries is pretty irrelevant here I would think. I mean, MS did it to focus and have enough stock in their major markets and the other countries MS is missing wouldnt total to be a whole lot considering majority of sales come from US/UK. Also, MS may have shortage in parts of US but I can assure you that there is plenty of stock in Chicagoland area with some Targets having 30-40 on hand the day after Christmas. I think your 200k figure is way too low. Maybe 400-500k

I'm going to have to go with MS on this one. I've heard too many "insiders" be wrong this year. Considering MS stated, "over 3 million" I doubt they would be lying.

MS rhimes with BS.  MS hurts their own image by saying things like "XB1 is sold out almost everywhere" while the stock trackers were green almost everywhere.

I dont think the big deal comes from a 100k difference but the implications of the 100k difference. For example, MS lying. Which is actually a big deal. We will see soon enough...
