I really enjoyed the series but after beating each game I didn't felt compelled to do a replay. Hard was too hard for me and I'm not a trophy whore. But good games anyway! Uncharted 1 was really good and had some of the best landscapes in the series in my opinion. But it was too damn fucking hard... or maybe I just suck at those games ![]() |
Finding treasure was the hardest thing about the game. LOL I never platinumed any of them because of it. had every trophy except for all of major treasure ones in all of the games. Uncharted can be a pretty unforgiving game on the hardest difficulties though.

I was going to make a thread asking the same thing in Uncharted 1. Compared to the other 2, the AI is OP. The AI can just kill you way too fast. But out of 1 and 3, U3 was better. I didn't even care for 3 that much, but the first one just sucked balls in my opinion.

Good to know I wasn't the only one having troubles :$. They corrected it with the other games though. Hard is still a pain in the ass in the other two games though

The first one was better for me. 3 felt to me like they were trying to recreate what made 2 so fantastic, but couldn't quite get there. The game felt a bit like it was just jumping from set piece to set piece at times. I didn't really care for my first time through. Second playthrough I enjoyed it a lot more; wandering the desert was very good, and the horse back/convey level was genuinely fantastic - pure cowboy, but it's still the weakest in the trilogy in my opinion - too many set pieces that feel like inferior versions of Uncharted 2.
The first one was definitely a little raw and unrefined, but it was always lighthearted and charming. The jungle environments were great, the story was good, pure Indiana Jones fun. Gameplay-wise, on the hardest difficulty it was just right - the limited ammo meant you were constantly on the run, trying to use the environment as best you can. It took Gears of War and made it so much more fluid.
Both games had rubbish final bosses though!
I'm not really sure if Uncharted 2 is better than 3. But I do know that they're both much better than 1.
Ah, Uncharted. My second PS3 game. It looked great (at the time) and had slick writing but it was pretty repetitive and the gunplay had issues. Gotta say Uncharted 3.
Hard to say. Depends whether you prefer games with awful vehicle segments or games with QTE based final bosses :^)
Personally I prefer UC3 because I enjoyed the MP beta a lot with my brother.
Uncharted 3, because of the better story and the better set pieces. Of course, it looked better too.
Uncharted 2 is still the best though, because of it's polish, but every Uncharted has been an excellent game. Golden Abyss is still the only reason I would want a Vita and an Uncharted 4 would be an excellent case to sell me a PS4.
