Well, masturbation is a big part of how adolescents learned about sex for who knows how long. Theoretically, people could just have sex without any masturbation, but the thing is tha sex is such a big part of our existence. We would certainly go extinct without sex. But masturbation is an essential part of sexuality, that I don't think you can take away one without taking away the other. It's hard to explain I guess.

If you don't have a sex life and don't masturbate, how can you actually do it over a certain age without going berserk? You have to give your sex drive some kind of outlet. If you don't do it while awake your brain will do it when you can't impose your will. You will have wet dreams, which is basically masturbation in your sleep. Now is that sinful too?
