PS4 - bought it because it will have the same exclusives I loved on the PS3

 X1 - would buy it instantly if Mirror's Edge 2 or any FF is exclusive for it. I know it is unrealistic for it to be exclusive but right now I can't think of any other title that would push me to buy an X1

 WiiU - will probably buy it when X comes out

 Vita - bought it as an accessory for my PS4 and because I wanted to try out a few games. No really strong urge to buy it though

3DS - It has a strong lineup and there are games I am dying to play but so far it didn't compel me enough to buy. And if the likes of ALBW and Fire Emblem are not enough to get me I don't know what will.

Keeping in mind that money makes owning multiple platforms extremely difficult for me, and I'm unlikely to buy any more than two consoles in a given generation, here are my thoughts...

Xbox One:   I'm not exactly sure what I'm waiting for at this point.  I have the money.  I think I'm just waiting for info on when Project Spark and the first wave of self-published games are going to hit the Xbox Games Store.  When I get my Xbox One (which I anticipate will be sometime in the next couple months) I plan on trying out Killer Instinct for free (hoping the dojo mode can do a good job of introducing me to the complexity of fighting games) , and maybe buying an self-published game or two (Divekick has caught my eye, I like that you can play it without having to master a whole bunch of button combos).  I am super excited for the lineup of AAA games coming out for the Xbox One this year, games like Destiny, Halo 5, Sunset Overdrive, The Witcher 3, and The Division.

PS4:   I'm mainly waiting to see what Naughty Dog (and to a lesser extent, Sony Santa Monica) is going to do with the hardware.  Right now, there just aren't many exclusives on the PS4 that I want to play.  Transistor is the main PS4 exclusive I want right now, and there is a good chance that it could come to Xbox One after the timed PS4 console exclusivity runs out.  But this could become a very desirable console if it can get some compelling exclusives, and I expect there will be eventually.  If there's any console that is most likely to sit next to my Xbox One at some point in this generation, it is the PS4.

Wii U:   I would need to see some great SEGA games released exclusively for the platform, and so far I'm not seeing it.  Sonic: Lost World didn't impress me when I played it at Sonic Boom, and the mixed reactions I've seen from Sonic fans only confirms that it is skippable.  Smash Bros is fun, especially since I can play as Sonic, but by itself isn't enough.

3DS:   Handhelds don't interest me that much, and even though the 3DS has a lot of games, not many of them interest me.  Pokemon is a fantastic series, and the demo I played of Super Mario 3D World was fun, but neither come close to justifying the cost.  Nothing else really grabs me.

Vita:   The Vita doesn't have anything that I really want.  Like, at all.  Any platform needs to have compelling games, and for me, it has none.

One last thing to note: a platform exclusive Skies of Arcadia 2 is pretty much a trump card, and all but guarantees that I will buy the platform necessary to play it, at some point in time.  No way would I miss out on a sequel to one of the greatest games of all time, unless it wound up being absolute, Sonic 06 levels of hot garbage.

PS vita: uhmmm, I'm starting to think that handheld isn't my thing, it's cool to play with the interface and all but that's it, I'm kinda bored with the system.

PS4: I'm very happy with it even though killzone SF dissapoint me, i'm very hook with resogun, i never thought that fucking game gonna hook me for hours, it's really challenging.

XBO: to be honest, the only game that i really wanna play on that system is Dead rising 3, so i don't have plan to buy that console anytime soon.

Wii U: i will buy it when mario kart 8 released

PS4- I'm happy with my purchase thus far. I didn't really like the 1st party line up, but 3rd party stuff is nice. I also love the Uncharted series lol.

PSV- Honestly, it would have to be pretty damn cheap for me to buy one just for remote play.I don't hand held game anymore. So maybe around $100.

XBO- This looks like a really nice system. I just didn't want to buy both the ps4 and xbox one at launch since they basically have the same games. It was kind of expensive too. The libraries haven't differed enough. I will prob pick this up down the line when it drops to $300-$400 though.

3ds- I don't handheld game anymore so I'm not really sure if I would ever get it. A nice price would be $100 though.

Wii U-hmm, I don't really like many of nin exclusives and the price would have to drop until I even consider it. I would say around $150-$200 with a much bigger library that I want since the system is mostly a first party machine.

PS4/Vita: Nintendo going third-party OR price drop to under $200/$100, respectively. Vita TV doesn't count toward that.

Xbox One: The End of Days

Wii U - after holding out for over a year, I finally caved in a bought one, despite being a skeptic for awhile. I was waiting for a great deal and more than NSMB U and Monster Hunter as far as games that interested me.. Well, after stumbling upon a Best Buy post black Friday deal which was 320 bucks for the console with NSMBU/Luigi U plus Nintendoland and Luigi remote plus, that did it for me. Plus, playing Mario 3D World at a friend's house really sold me on that game. I also sort of dig the idea of the off-TV play.

Xbone - I will buy one once the price hits at least $400 and there is more than Dead Rising 3 that interest me. I do love the Gears series, and enjoy me some Halo as wel. I'm also intrigued by Titanfall, as it's apparently made by many of the devs who created the GOOD Call of Duty games of old..

Really have no interest in PS4. The only series Sony holds that interest me in the slightest are LBP and Tales, but those alone aren't enough to buy a console for. Sony games tend to lean very heavily on cinematics and cut scenes, and I hate those kinds of games.

Wii U
Got it day one. Had a very good launch selection and promise of great titles to come... even if many missed the launch window.

PS4
$300 price point. By then it'll likely have a game library making it worth it as well.

Xbone
If it were the only option, I'd build a better PC.

Still waiting on a PS4 in the wild... Only one of my friends was able to get one so far without preorder...

As for the Wii U, waiting for the Zelda U before i consider buying it...

Loving my PSV - I rarely play it though, because I always forget to charge it before I get in situations were I would use it...

3DS: Because of Fire Emblem
PS Vita: Because of Persona, Gravity Rush, and the potential of the device.

Wii U - Kids and the wife. Personally I think it's extremely meh. Very unimpressed with it thus far and I don't see shit for games I think I would enjoy. ZombiU is decent so far.

3DS - We have 3 in the house. It's an amazing console. So many good games in the last year or so.
