there are probably a few nintendo games still to be remastered (metroid prime trilogy is the only one that comes to my mind) but MS/Sony side of things i'm pretty HD re-released out.

Since most of my dearest PS2 exclusives already been HD-upgraded and most non-exclusives are in HD or FullHD on PC anyways, there aren't so much left.

Final Fantasy 7 - 9 HD
Shenmue 1 + 2 HD

Games from the 8- and 16-bit generation gets actual remakes while the games from PS2 and Wii gets upres'd, which is what this topic asked for. So asking for a remake of a game from the 8 bit days is not what this topic is about... That requires a whole other kind of team making it.

But on topic: Most games on PS that I would want a remake to has already gotten one so it would be GC games and Wii games for me.

- Metroid Prime HD Trilogy - have played these to death and they already got a collection which added widescreen support, but they would look terrific in 1080p!

- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - After TWWHD the developers said they tested TP and SS, and while SS is still fairly new I'd go with TP. Nintendo said that TWW looked best of the bunch when ported straight to higher resolution, textures and shaders. The low poly count fits TWW's artstyle very well so TP may require a little more work, but I'm sure it wouldn't look outdated!

- Metal Gear Solid (the first) - It got a remake on GC, why not upres this? I haven't played it but I guess it's just like the PS1 original with added first person controls while aiming.

- Luigi's Mansion 2 - This may seem a little weird, but it has enough polygons that it could be made a title for Wii U. Resident Evil Revelations did it. I don't see it happening at all though, the 3DS needs unique first party games, but it's something that I want.

- Kid Icarus: Uprising - Same as the above, only that I want this more. I'm left handed and that ruined KI:U for me. Circle Pad Pro didn't fix the issue either. Pointer controls with steering your character with a left stick is perfectly suited to Wiimote + nunchuk. The gamepad could use a "classic mode".

2 Zeldas on my list have to be top priority after Metroid for Nintendo!  Twilight Princess was on 2 systems and not HD on either and Skyward Sword needs a version without the annoying flying and laggy swinging!

Its on X-Box Live Arcade for $9.99 US.  It only has three of the six games but its the three best ones Monster Land, Monster World and Monster World IV.
