It doesn't For some reason Nintendo fans always have to bring up the Vita when talking about sales.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

i understand the defense mechanism when talking about hardware sales but the op gives enough to bash with gt6

Damn. I thought nobody would catch on D:
The more interesting question is. Which game will sell closer to its predecessor. Right now it seems 3DWorld will be quite close while GT6 will underperform by quite a noticeable margin.

Vita in their posts is like that fake sign interpreter and true mad killer at Mandela's funeral or like the Spanish Inquisition, it pops up from nowhere when you least expect it.

seems obvious dont you think? What do you think 3DW would sell on the Wii if it were launched? A game launching on a console a couple of years after its prime vs a game launching on a console a couple of months before its prime...

It depends. GTA5 is selling better and it is a last-gen exclusive as well. There have been some excuses like the performance of CoD or AssCreed on last gen systems but these are cross-gen titles are also on next-gen systems, while the mentioned GTA5 so far is a last-gen exclusive, GT6 is even a system exclusive to PS3 and doesn´t have the same problem of other cross-gen titles on PS3. It really depends if the game is seen as a desirable new title or mearly a rehash.

okay. So SM3DW is reigning champion for 8th generation for now since the other has yet to be released. Cool, coolcool. |
GT6 was already released. What are you talking about?

| ps3-sales! said: Just saying. People are quick to critique and cut down the sales numbers of Gran Turismo 6; saying that it's a flop or the series is done. On the other hand, everyone seems to be positive about 3D world's sales saying the legs are great and it's selling great for Wii U. Install base or not, the fact of the matter is Mario is MORE popular than Gran Turismo. The fact that GT6 is handily outselling it at 1.55 mil compared to 1.31 of 3D world just shows a double standard with the two games. Thoughts? *DIsclaimer* try NOT to to bring up game quality into this discussion. We all know that GT6 isn't much different from previous GT and that 3D is a fanstatic game that is unlike any other main Mario installment (except the obvious 3D land on 3DS) |
No, it's the other way around. There were people calling Mario 3D World a flop.
Personally, I think it's sold fairly good for a Mario spinoff title.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
