It is the weekly numbers... WAY UNDER for PS4.

I agree. I'd say the PS4 should be around 3 million.

VGC actaully overtracked PS4 by 100k in america accodring to NPD which they haven't fixed i might add.  As for CBOAT he has been wrong a lot.

First they fixed.
Second CBOAT said nothing about sales numbers.
Third official trackers already showed PS4 undestracked in UK, France, Spain... of couser the same is happening in the rest of Europe... and now it is under in US too.

Ok, I have overlooked the obvious. These are two week old figures ... I still think the PS4 is undertracked though.

If we were to belive in ethomaz TRU FACTS PS4 would be more close to 4mi by now.

But of corse, random twitter and anedoctal pics from random people are much more reliable than VGChartz, or NPD or any reasanble logic.

Since we haven´t heard any official announcements, my guess is that these figuers are pretty accurate, maybe PS4 a bit too high.

Yes and No.

3DS was adjusted up in the US a few hundred K.

Which means it's now overtracked 700k+ in the US (and still 500k in the UK)

Those remarks came after the 14th though (something I forgot to take into account). I still think the numbers are undertracked, unless that week was a week when Sony had to ship more console in preperation for releasing in other territories. Perhaps next week we'll see the PS4 hitting 500,000 or more. We'll see. If it doesn't, there's definitely something odd here.

There is nothing odd here.

Sony said it would sell 3mi PS4 by the end of this year. They will sell 3mi nothing much more nor much less.

I agree that there is a overtracking in PS4 some where. But not that significant for the big picture.

No one will care for more or less 100k when we are targeting a 200mi life cycle market. The thing we can learn is that both PS4 andd XOne are selling much more closely than many would have expected (or hope?).

Horrible reasoning, just because people (aka some xbox fans on the internet) expect an official announcement from Sony for every million they sell, doesn't mean they'll get one.

I don't think many people believe that target anymore. Sony have said they'll sell 5 million by March but I'm expecting at least 6 million. If Sony don't hit 3.5 - 3.7 million by the end of the year, I'd be surprised. There is ONE possible reason though: They're holding stock back for Japan.
