So there are 40 million 3DS owners and 4.5 million Wii U owners. Do you think having Miiverse on 3DS could potentially bring Wii U and its games to the attention of some of the userbase. Many Nintendo fans have 3DS systems, but have yet to ( or are on the fence) delve into the latest Nintendo home console. A lot of gamers could see the good line up of exclusives or the full range of indie games that Wii U offers via Miiverse,and that may sway them to make a purchase. There is obviously a lot of good word of mouth regarding Wii U and its games on Miiverse,and if Nintendo are smart they could try and tap in to some of their handheld userbase.

The integration can certainly help. Miiverse is very nice, but underused. Although 3D world is showing it's potential.

OT: depends on how big Miiverse becomes on the 3DS. But even if it does become big I don't see having a relevent impact on the Wii U. Some people might want to get the system based on other people's opinions, but not enough to make a significant impact.

Im not too sure now you ask, but i could browse 3DS communities via my Wii U and that was before i linked my account to 3DS. I assume its the other way round for 3DS only owners, im sure once signed into Miiverse you can openly browse through anything Nintendo related.

The existence of the 3DS itself benefits the Wii U. People who play Nintendo franchises on the 3DS will want to play them on the Wii U.
