Why is it so hard to criticize one company without having to bring another company to compare it to. If Microsoft is indeed lying about sell-through - then why does it matter if Sony did it in the past?

Not really if we assume they sold another 100k in the us that means between the other 12 locations just need to sell a combined 1 mil

I think than the 2M are true, PS4 sell 2,1M in 15 days (US) + only 48H in Europe (where the dominance of Sony is very strong), Xbox1 2M in 18 days for US and Europe.

Yes, PS4 numbers are more impressive, but X1 also had a successful launch in Xbox/Microsoft history. That is good enough.


Nope, that would mean it would have sold more than million in Europe and more in Europe than the U.S. With XOne's being in stock in almist all of Europe, no way.


Wow...its like you don't even know what November NPD means. That 909k is for the US' first 9 days, not for the full 18 days WW.

I was not really questioning the sales numbers until reading this thread but the number do seem off on second look.

I dont think there is any reason to question the number. Seems pretty obvious they sold 2 million pretty quick.
