i think you are right.. my opinion is that they probably have shipped 2.1 - 2.2 million. and they ASSUMED very high sell-through which is probably a bit higher than actual.. and they declared 2.0 million as sold to customers. In actuality it might be a little bit less.. like 1.8 - 1.85 million.

I think actual numbers we will get will be for first Quarter of 2014.. Wii U also managed to ship 3.46? million in launch quarter and afterwards it just fizzled out.. So Q1 2014 quarter shipment will tell the real winner between PS4 & XBO

Microsoft's track record with this kind of stuff is really bad. Anyone remember the stuff about the Surface sales? Or how they denied RROD for more than a year?
