Forums - Sales - WiiU sells ~220k, Mario 215k in November. 3DS 770k, Zelda 405k (NPD USA) - Nintendo

Wii U is doing less than GC though.. and GC lasted 4-5 years on the market..

WII u is on year 2..

3DS sales are going to drop.. as are vita's.. what's the incentive of buying a 3DS over a tablet? Or smartphone for your kid as these devices begin to rival 360 visuals in a year or two

It is what is, simple as that. At this point I will just enjoy the games, and I'm not afraid of Nintendo dropping the Wii U anytime soon, 2016 will be the earliest.

Nintendo and PC gamer

Those are just bad sales for both.

Wii U is a disaster full on, less than half of the GameCube's 2002 November with poor Mario 3D World sales.

3DS is a disappointment considering Pokemon X/Y + $99 Black Friday deals on the 2DS + Zelda gold bundles. Handheld business is definitely shakey if they couldn't crush 1 million in a month like this (and Vita looks completely dead). This should be the 3DS' biggest November, but it looks like it fell shy of 2011.

Things are not bad. I can only guess that most of the doom and gloomers are first gen gamers. Only way I can think of to be that misinformed about sales. PS4 sales are already below Wii U weekly. Things will continue this way for a while.

The only reason I can see people bringing this up now is deflection from weekly sales and PS4 being the only next gen console to not outsell the previous generation console.

I'm afraid of buying a WiiU now, not gonna spend 300 dollars on a console that might get slashed pretty soon. And Nintendo acts as if nothing's going on.

Seriously, Wii U is now officially being Dreamcasted. They might want to carry on the console for 4 more years with terrible losses or just give up on the Home console business. Unless miracles happen, that's the only 2 options they have.

9 million Wii U sold during the FY, 1 Billion operating profit and the HW forecasts predictions will fall short so badly (Wii U will be lucky to sell 4 million on the FY), and serious consequences will arise from that during the shareholders roundtable for the end of the FY. Won't be surprised if there are resignations en masse, or if stocks drop to abysmal and scary levels. Won't even be surprised if there's physical violence during the presentation, to be honest.

Nintendo probably let their only chance to recover fly past. Farewell.

Lets be honest, you were never going to buy a wii u :)

The bolded bit of your post is what I hope happens. As for the rest of it, it reminds me of bad tabloid journalism.

"..physical violence during the presentation"... hilarious.

3DS+ DS Games?

You know I can play DS games on my smart phone with a torrent....  BUT legally you're right..  yet mario is flopping compared to how it usually does

What do you mean PS4 sales are below Wii U? Unless you're referring to Japan there's no truth in that at all.
