I'd say wait but if you truly can't wait then Xbox One because there's a better choice of games right now. Get a PS4 when Infamous or Uncharted comes out so you won't end up bored with the console.

Seems even base don what you want, so price seems only variable left to you. In that case, go with the cheaper one now, and other one when price drops.

Well I'm in the same dilemma and I'm not sure which to pick up first. I know I'll be getting both sometime down the road but I'm leaning towards the PS4 due to the cheaper price tag and PS+ being already a great value over XBL (But I love both services). In the end it comes down to the games and since you said you love Gears and Halo I think you should probably go with the Xbox One.

KH3 will be on both, so Initially i was getting ps4 cos of the price.
but with the annoucements of project spark and the develop kit, ill pick One.
But only in 2015.

I'd say wait. I really don't see how ppl(well I see how)that some can say price. Especially if you bought the PS3 launch or before cut. Thing was $600+ and $500+ I'm sure we waste almost that much every month or month and a half. Not everyone obviously. Yea I'd wait till either a bundle or price drop.

If it helps, I got a PS4 for what can be summarized in three main points: It's $100 cheaper with superior visuals, Sony's guaranteed 1st party awesomeness, and PS+ provides serious value across all PS consoles.

I feel your pain, you probably dont have much time or money to waste on all 3 systems so you have to choose one.

i'd say to get an XBONE. You say you love gears and halo....so that means you will most likely eventually get the new halo when it release. You might also like Titan fall if your a shooter fan.

My advice is to get the system with the games you like or are releasing in the future. You also seem pretty interested in Kinect so thats another pro for you over the ps4.

i plan to get a ps4 first and a wii u when its cheaper. For me, its about the games so you should go with the system you feel has the best for your personal needs. The other features for he xbone or ps4 would just be extra goodies.

Personally I say you should just wait, because NEITHER really has any MUST HAVE games at the moment. Give it a few months and wait to see which one has more the "games" that you prefer then also look at the additional features to find what will best suit your tastes.

Both are good next gen machines but one has a better price and will offer noticeably more beautiful games and more games ( sony support + japan support like the PS3 but better ).
