It's still surprisingly ridiculous that the PS4 isn't backwards compatible... but that's a different story.

Yes, you should. I would've said no if it weren't for you mentioning multiple Nintendo games that you liked that are either coming out soon or are in known development. However, the end decision is up to you, of course.

Actually, it's very surprisingly un-ridiculous.

No console can justify not having backwards compatibility like the PS4 can.

The only viable method of backwards compatibility, Gaikai, is already being developed.

Nope. Wait until PS4 gets Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, God of War, etc. unless you like 3D Mario, Smash Bros., MK, etc. more
Plus, Persona 5 and Tales of Xillia 2 are coming out.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised with how good the Wii U is. That's the shame, people don't realize how much they have improved their console. Also, as already mentioned, there is a healthy size of good games out right now to choose from and more compelling titles releasing soon. Pikmin, 101, WW, SM3W, RAyman, NSMB, personally, I'm a Monster Hunter Junkie, but there is a lot of good stuff. Probably the best upgrade I've noticed is Nintendo's eshop, which is miles better than the service on the Wii. It's hands down the best backwards compatible device out there and if you have a 3DS you can connect your accounts (assuming thats what Adrian @ Nintendo has been hinting about) this month.

How can the PS4 justify not being backwards compatible? Because of Gaikai?

Hells to the no.

couldn't have said it any bette myself!

I would definitely hold off on trading your ps3 for atleast another year, support is still strong for the console and beside the Wii U might even see another pricecut

I am not sure but I THINK he may be talking about how the machines are built...like because the PS4 does not have the cell like the PS3 did and that is a hge factor. Not the most tech savy person so I am not 100% positive.

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

As for the topic at hand...I know you said GOW:A but there are no other games at all that are on PS3 that may even already be out that you have not played that you want to play? Like you have played EVERY game on PS3 that you want to play?

What do you mean?

No, get the Wii U when you have extra money, don't sell your PS3, and I'm saying that as a Wii U owner next to my PS3, there will still be games coming out for the PS3, and I'm pretty sure you will see more price drops next year for the Wii U, by then the Wii U catalog will be massive with a lot of quality games out from Nintendo and you'd still be able to play games for the PS3 and PS4.

I don't know how you didn't get that... I don't think I could really word that much differently.

Anyhow, was TheBlackNaruto right? If so, I would understand then.
