Use the Gamepad as a wheel and have the screen function as a rear-view mirror and expand on your ability to control and fire weapons backwards and defend against incoming attacks.

That way the person at the front isn't completely at the mercy of superior fire power from the back of the field.

That reminds me, I wonder how many players the game will support offline? Cause technically the Wii U can support 5 controllers simultaneously, as seen in Rayman Legends.

that's a really good point, a lot of people use the wheel in Mario kart wii online
but I think, they're going to sale it separate, I seen videos and they're using the gamepad and it works like a wheel
so who knows?

Sell the wheel apart and advertise the gamepad use.

GamePad "is" the wheel isn't it? It has gyro controls, so I don't see why they wouldn't showcase that feature.

they should present mk8 as the first game with 2nd gamepad, and bundle it with a gamepad.

wasn't there a rumour that the game would be the first one to be bundled with an actual gamepad because it enables 6 people offline multiplayer ? 4 on screen, 2 on gamepads.

The GamePad is the clear answer here. They should market it as being able to play MK8 "classically" (using the analog sticks) and "modern" (using the accelerometer/gyro or whatever.)

bundle with a second gamepad for 60 bucks :) (and introduce 2 gamepad mode that way. I mean it already was implemented in the consoles firmware with the big summer update)

not that I need another gamepad because I already have 2  but still  for 60 it would be a steal :)
