I told the supervisor I thought I got an extra 90 days by registering it, and he said he wasn't aware that they were doing the extended warranties on the Wii U.  Something ain't stirring the kool aid.....

Question, somewhat relevant: are the game-pads attached to Wii U consoles? If not, there are Wii U only consoles on eBay for like $100 without the game-pad. So if something like this happens and one is not covered by warranty, they could just buy a new console, assuming the game-pad isn't attached to the console, that is.

Another update: I found another ac adapter to test my system, and the system works fine. I just need another adapter thank God! I have already spoke to tech support again and I should have a replacement by Wednesday of next week. Free of charge of course. I was feeling sorry for myself so I bought myself a little present . Now I must set up my Ps4. First world problems, indeed.

The gamepad isn't tied to onesystem but the digital downloads are.  But more to your point, it's good to know.  Makes me wonder if a person could get a pro controller and be set with out the pad.
