Another update: I found another ac adapter to test my system, and the system works fine. I just need another adapter thank God! I have already spoke to tech support again and I should have a replacement by Wednesday of next week. Free of charge of course. I was feeling sorry for myself so I bought myself a little present 
. Now I must set up my Ps4. First world problems, indeed.
