Consumers don't want more expensive bundles of the Vita that might save you money. They want the standalone console for cheap.

This!  I picked one up for $150 on black friday.  It looked like they sold 6000 in a few hours.

Plus the memory cards need to cost the same as the standard memory cards.

Really sucks too, the vita is a great handheld, and there is a lot of great games, tearaway, and ys the last few weeks alone are great. not sure what sony can do at this point.

VGX going to get some announcements for Vita hopefully, and Vita may not be shining right now but it has the potential to do that in future.



GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

Indeed. I was expecting something this terrible, considering it managed 160k with Call of Duty/Assassin's Creed/White Vita/$199 price point last year. It was never gonna do anything close to that with a Walking Dead $199 bundle this year -_-

SCEA are just arse in general, to be honest, but particularly arse when it comes to handhelds. And particularly particularly arse when it comes to Vita. If they hadn't got such a good selection of JRPG's available on PSN that aren't available in Europe, I can't think of a single thing I'd prefer about their style of management. It's just terrible.

And yeah. Vita is done in the USA in general. It might manage a few niche sales next year and maybe a few pick ups of VitaTV, but that'll be it. Europe & Japan will be where it holds on, if it does.

I'm sorry, but this is original Wind Waker artwork, as shown by the lack of HD behind "Wind Waker" in the picture. And since Sony themselves don't bother to market the Vita as anything but a PS4 controller I actually was serious.

Maybe serious but also wrong, if Sony would makret the Vita as a PS4 controller, they wouldnt release game or ask for games on it.

There is a good amount of games coming in 2014 on Vita, a good part is first party
