Well there's no turning back now. Their only bet is to discontinue the PS4 and start making the PS5. Hopefully that can help sales a bit.

well, I know this is for the NA, but here in costa rica you can find one with no problem. Same as the wiiU and xbone one though...

Maybe is just anecdotal, but most of my gaming friends are either not buying new consoles (none) o just going PC/mobile. The 3DS is in full force though.

If you looked into this at all you would see that the PS4 can only supply so many consoles at launch when the demand is so high.

And the Xbox has more supply this week because they sold less on the first week than the PS4 in America and they released in less nations worldwide where they shipped less consoles.

Pretty sure after this week NA will get a steady supply of PS4s. I hope the Wii U continues to sell well though.

I'm gonna say lack of demand is the likely culprit here

This reminds me when people said that Sony was telling retailers to tell people that they didn't have PS4's, and let people buy them on black friday. We can all see that it still has supply issues.
