Memory cards sure, but I didn't see any Black Friday deals that made the console any cheaper than last year.  Amazon was offering the AC3 bundle for $199 last year.  The only deal I saw this year was the Walking Dead bundle for $199.

Ahhh. Wow, that was a great deal.

Yeah, not a chance x1 and ps4 will be anything like vita, 2014 is stacked with games for both.

I think it's way too early to tell about the X1 in Europe. I'm guessing Microsoft had most of their shipments sent to NA for Black Friday, because those Euro numbers are brutal. Has to be supply related. There's going to be a lot of unhappy people this Christmas if Sony and Microsoft can't get more units on the shelf.

Also, 3D World should be the #3 top selling game on the system once this week's software is tallied.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I have been saying this for a while.  Xbone is going to do horribly next year, atleast just as bad as the Wii U in 2013.   Wii U will have an awesome lineup.  PS4 is in really high demand and is cheaper.  On top of all that Xbones are already going for about retail price on ebay,` while pS4's are 200 bucks over.  All the signs of a massive downturn in sales are starting to show already.

Agree, x1 is going to be in truble in europe IMO, and it is no longer the dominant force in the US.

Especially when the X1's exclusive lineup for next year lacks variety while the PS4 offers Driveclub, Infamous: Second Son, Uncharted, Deep Down, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, The Order: 1886, Secret Ponchos, MLB 14: The Show, and the unannounced titles of Sony's other 1st party devs next year.

This is the worst that an active console (ie one without a successor) has performed globally on BF week since 2006.  In 2006 the PS3 sold worse, but that was the week after its launch, when presumably supply was an issue.  Oh, and it's not even close.  Not counting the PS3 I think the next lowest performer was the Vita in 2011 with around 200K.  Besides that, I don't think there is a console that sold less than 250K WW black friday week.
