This is the worst that an active console (ie one without a successor) has performed globally on BF week since 2006.  In 2006 the PS3 sold worse, but that was the week after its launch, when presumably supply was an issue.  Oh, and it's not even close.  Not counting the PS3 I think the next lowest performer was the Vita in 2011 with around 200K.  Besides that, I don't think there is a console that sold less than 250K WW black friday week.

Do you mean 2012? I don't think the Vita had launched yet on BF week 2011.

Nah, I actually meant the PSP.  My bad.

Which is a good score, considering last year it got a special limited edition white console with ACIII:L and this year it got... nothing.

This year it costs $50-100 less than last year, and the memory cards all cost less as well.

Ah, right! Cause the last time a lower price made a bigger short-time impact, than a AAA game bundled with a limited edition console was... never?

Vita wasnt available in US/Europe during Black Friday 2011 so I wouldnt include that

It was my mistake.  I meant PSP not Vita.

Hmmm hope Vita is undertracked... though it won't really matter. 3DS was an absolute beast though!! Also for a little anecdotal evidence, the Best Buy District I work in hasn't gotten a single PS4 since our launch shipment, so yes the PS4 is still supply constrained in the US.

One thing i am confused by however. On the homepage global totals the 3ds was 37.8m ending last week. Going off this week its 1.3m which should put it at 39.1, yet the chart has 39.6m. Have their been adjustments to other weeks or is it an error?

those charts generally take a few weeks between updates

No, they actually adjusted up the 3DS data for the past few weeks. Last week was actually 578k instead of 490k.

don't know, but is it possible, that XBone can reach level of past Wii U sales? Looks extremely low to me. o.o

I have been saying this for a while.  Xbone is going to do horribly next year, atleast just as bad as the Wii U in 2013.   Wii U will have an awesome lineup.  PS4 is in really high demand and is cheaper.  On top of all that Xbones are already going for about retail price on ebay,` while pS4's are 200 bucks over.  All the signs of a massive downturn in sales are starting to show already.

you want to take a bet? I say Xbox One does at least 30% better than Wii U next year total year sales
