I have my doubts about that. Amazon Germany still had preorders left almost until the cutoff date for Day One shipping. As of now they still have preorders left with December 3rd, 13th, and 30th delivery dates.

you can doubt what you want. the store was super angry about that and posted that often enough (they send mails and posted it on facebook). and even if amazon got more, it still is sold out everyhwere i looked so that they obviously sold less as they could (sony will obviously also sell less as they could) and i just read an article which stated that the biggest stores expect to get "a lot of new consoles early december" . and yes, the online sotre i'm talking about (spielegrotte) even said that they think that microsoft send most consoles to amazon so that at least amazon could handle pre-orders better but yeah, they did get almost no consoles and were sold out in a few seconds. they even joked about dead rising which they sell (without an official release in germany) and how it will be banned in germany before they get new consoles for new interests so that these people shouldn't think about the possibility of an xbox one+ dead rising bundle sold by them.
