Ive been reading alot of posts on here and all over the internet lately things about resolution differences, XB1 and PS4 exclusive meta scores, PS4 failures, Forza 5 looking last gen, and WiiU will bounce back.  What i havent really been reading and should be especially on here is PS4 future sales, i'll be honest ive own the PS4 since launch and im not really impressed, the UI is still sluggish, the load times are all still there, and theres alot of things missing from the UI that the PS3 has, but one things is definite the PS4 is the hottest thing since sliced bread.

A week ago the PS4 launched in NA with a outstanding 1M+ sold its first day over 3/4 of these also purchased COD ghost, compare that to recent XB1 sales that are also similar BUT include many other regions.  This weeks numbers will include PS4s other regions aswell as black friday for NA so i ask you to post you thoughts on what the PS4 will do and if it can reach the almighty 2M pinnacle.

depends how many consoles they can ship. they said they expect 3m till end of the year and they obviously knew that they will sell all of the first 5m or so consoles very fast. it could have been a "lie" just to impress investors or they can really not ship more so that they can't sell 2m in this week.

so, if they can ship so many, i think it is possible but sony's own shipment estimates would be totally wrong then because they would be already above 3m end of november and they said that there will be many consoles to grab in december.

No way, they don't have that much supply ready.

If they had enough supply they would hit this number easily but I don't see them having that much left. So no I don't think they will sell 2 million but they should get another 1 million.

It just depends on the supply, if sony can ship it, it will be sold. I think the same can be said for ms as well.

it is not realistically possible. People wanting a PS4 may be over 3 millions easily, but manufacturing that quantity in 2-3 weeks is almost impossible. I say 2-3 weeks counting the time since the first batch of console was ready for shipping from Asia, until maybe today that the next one should be sailing the pacific ocean. As far as I know they are shipped over seas to increase profits.
