Forums - Microsoft Discussion - New Kotor confirmed! Yes!!!

http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/13/knights-of-the-old-republic-back-in-biowares-hands/

After a brief stint with Obsidian Entertainment in 2004, the Star Wars: Kuhniggets of the Old Republic franchise is set to return to the folks at BioWare. So says an EA investor report (yes, that one) which listed the game amongst BioWare's multiple ongoing projects. Mind you, it's listed simply as "KOTOR," so there's a small chance that the studio is actually working on Kleptomaniac on the Origami Recliner. That doesn't sound like something you'd collaborate with LucasArts on, though ...

While it doesn't preclude the possibility of the company working on more than one online game (or more than one KOTOR title), the separate listing of "new MMO" in the same report does cast some doubt on earlier KOTOR rumors. We'd prefer a single-player adventure over online organic meatbaggery, but perhaps you feel otherwise.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

WOHOOOOO!!

@Hunter_Alien

it's EA

so excpect it to be on mobile phones & what not

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

God, why is the first thing people ask if it'll be on Wii, 360, or PS3? Why do you want a gimped version? Not trying to troll...if it starts as a PC game and downgrades to a certain extent for consoles...be it resolution, controls, expandability, etc...just get it for the computer!

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Considering you'll have to trudge through not playing the PC version for a few extra months.....

I'd rather play the first version on X360 first, and get enjoyment out of it rather than wait and have the fun killed off by months of waiting.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

You don't know the PC version will come out later...I don't see why they couldn't release them together.

.......Because neither KOTOR 1 or 2 were released simultaneously for the Xbox/PC? The Xbox had both KOTORs a few months earlier.

Ohhh I can't wait for this to come out for PC the first two were great.....well the first one was great and the second one was good, up until the ending(or lackthereof)

I half expected this to be some sort of joke about Mass Effect coming to the PC since it's Kotor'ish.
